Allen Paul Weaver III struggled with low self-esteem for the first half of his life. He attempted suicide at 17 years old. Even though he was surrounded by people who loved him, he could not see past his own pain. Thinking he had no future worth living for, suicide seemed like the only alternative. But God intervened and began to reveal His will to Allen over time. It wasn't until after his college graduation that he began to see himself, as God declared him to be in the Scriptures.

 

Now, at 49, Allen is living the future he didn't think existed! He holds degrees in Communications and Theology, and has traveled to 7 African countries, China and Europe as a documentary videographer. Over the past 23 years he has also served in various ministerial capacities (as a youth pastor, an associate minister, assistant pastor and co-pastor). He currently serves as an Interim Pastor at Bethesda Baptist Church of New Rochelle, NY. He has also authored 10 books (fiction & non-fiction) which help readers overcome the obstacles to their God-given dreams and purpose.

As a preacher and teacher in the NY area, Allen regularly speaks at local churches and for Christian associations. He uses his 40+ years of life experience, gifts, talents and biblical knowledge to help other Christians grow in their relationship with Christ and pursue their God-given purpose.

 

Allen seeks to help people discover their true identity in Christ, so they can experience God's resurrection power and gift of eternal life! He wants believers to be ready to meet Jesus (The Son of Man), whether at the point of death or on The Day when He returns to earth on the clouds of heaven as the rightful King and Judge of all.
